People are not that STUPID .... they will recognize that the movie was not racist. Also, regarding Jolson ... singing in blackface was because he sang with a traveling minstrel show in his youth. Like, Jolson singing in BLACK FACE ..... it was OK in the 1920s ... but definitely not today. The biggest hit song from PORGY AND BESS was SUMMERTIME .... and one verse ....
