midwest26 ::: Favorites I'am told by pediatricians to use fluoridated water when making baby bottles. Even though I didn't know the effects of fluoride at the time. I don't feel comfortable with my child ingesting a chemical constantly. I wounder if this is causing some of the new childhood problems we see today such as ADHD. (Once after every meal if you're really on top of it)Extra fluoride in our water supply, from a logical stand-point should be deemed unnecessary and with a large amount of scientist having skeptical viewpoints, fluoride is not worth taking risk. volantare ::: Favorites Here's the thing: the amount of water you need to drink to poison yourself with flouride is about 10 litres (in a short period of time). BUT if you drank three litres of water in a short period of time, you'd die from hyponatremia (lack of sodium). Someone said flouride is toxic, insert conspiracy theory, rat neurons may be more sensitive; more evidence would be needed before I'd conclude anything, "industrial waste" is emotional and irrelevant if the chemical is NaF at correct doses with nothing else problematic.
