Description: Apple's MacBook crammed a lot into a little. Because of how creative they got with space, so figuring out how to install memory into the Apple MacBook can be a little trickier than other laptops. This installation video should clear up some questions. http://www.4allmemory.com/info/macbook-memory.htm |

4allmemorydotcom ::: Favorites 2007-12-28 09:43:05 I had this experience myself a few times. It doesn't always click so it's hard to know if it's actually seated. Just be sure to press really hard (make sure you've got the modules aligned first, of course). If it doesn't boot, then try pushing harder. There's very little chance you will permanently damage your MacBook doing this. __________________________________________________
smauro3 ::: Favorites 2007-12-28 00:30:36 Is there a way to know when the memory is in? Will it click or something? If it is not in all the way and the computer doesn't boot, will it still work if you go and fix the memory problem? __________________________________________________
internetworld7 ::: Favorites 2007-12-22 20:09:27 Thanks for the installation video. I just recently switched from a garbage PC to a Macbook so I was wondering how to upgrade the memory. I just installed a 2GB stick of memory which I got from OWC yesterday. Good look'n. __________________________________________________
4allmemorydotcom ::: Favorites 2007-12-17 10:07:17 Unless Apple's changed something recently, they will usually come with 2 512MB if you order 1GB. __________________________________________________
DavidDude96 ::: Favorites 2007-12-15 14:03:04 is there just one module? like one 1gb, or do the macbooks come with 2 512mb sticks __________________________________________________

Rjnicko ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 10:33:21 thanks a lot, I have some sun glasses screw drivers could they fit __________________________________________________
4allmemorydotcom ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 10:15:23 The screwdriver can be really hard to find, but your best bet is probably the local hobby shop. Ask for a Phillips #1 screwdriver. Andrew 4AllMemory __________________________________________________
ferlez ::: Favorites 2007-11-18 04:39:28 hey nice vid will this RAM work? PATRIOT DDR2 SODIMM 2Gb PC2-5300 667MHZ thx __________________________________________________
Rjnicko ::: Favorites 2007-11-17 03:21:53 where do you get the screw driver from __________________________________________________
ericohman ::: Favorites 2007-11-09 18:18:04 apple says the macbook only support 2 gb ram (2 x1gb) but 3 gb ram will also work, for example, buying a 2 gb kingston, corsair and a 1 gb. in other words: 1x1gb and 1x2gb ram memory. I use 2x1gb corsair memory on my macbook. Corsair and Kingston memories are WAY cheaper than the apple memories and they will show no difference in performance what so ever. __________________________________________________ |
