He came out of the hat of the Great Blechini a short lived Grouch Magician played by Jim Martin. wiley207 ::: Favorites Benny Bunny actually first appeared on the show in 1991 as a generic rabbit character. I don't think he even had his Bellhop uniform! But he's more widely remembered from the show's slightly-awkward "Around the Corner" period, when they had that crazy Calypso opening and hip-hop context and new music added to classic clips, etc. They dropped all this stuff in 1998, did a pretty good remake of the original opening theme for the 1998-2001 episodes, and introduced "Elmo's World." 07-07-27 20:14:02 __________________________________________________
