I bet Fossy hated MG Rover cars too! Probably never drove or owned one of those either like most of the people who criticised them. Crossroads suffered the same treatment.

I guess if you learned to spell it might help in your quest. It was also in the 50 BEST soap moments? Explain that then.. possibly taste? Compact titles.. they're even worse! Must upload some sometime.

Crossroads... lets face facts. It was better than bloody boring Emmerdale Farm! The BBC usually in soap shows talk about how Crossroads was ground breaking. It is usually only CH4 that do the wobbly set thing. Cos they think they are being hilarious too.

Yes, and they also include "most" programmes in the "worst" its also featured in the Best Soap Moments also. So its all fair in love and war. Well I may have an advantage in as much as I've got the entire fan club archive of videos to view. I've yet to see a wobbly set. I've seen plenty in Corrie, but ain't found one in Crossroads yet. I did watch it in the mid-late 80s which is why I rediscovered it later. (UK Gold too) Anyway.. we'll agree to disagree I suppose.

I don't watch Neighbours either. I remember Crossroads as I have seen tv shows of the 100 worst tv shows ever and Crossroads is always there. The acting, the sets, you are only 27, so you cant have seen much more than me.

I usually, when someone just replies with "it was shite" ask why they think that. However, seen as you're only 24 you haven't got a clue what you're talking about. Feel free to provide a list of scenes showing why it was "shite" and i'll provide double why it wasn't! The first-ever episode of Neighbours also opens the same way, my goodness if people think that opening to Crossroads is "hilarious" you'll be pissing your knickers to Neighbours.

There were only three channels, actually. Well it only had a few thousand less viewers than Coronation Street, so it must have done something right. Sometimes, it even - shock horror - had more viewers than Corrie. Did I say you were the above? No - It was the general view of what a Crossroads fan was - seen as we're just being very none descriptive.
