This sort of also applies to Windows. Windows uses a generic CPU driver which limits use of any CPU you use. So it doesn't matter how fast your system should be, Windows itself is bottle-necking the system.

I doubt many users will do this, but you can also remove bottlenecks by DOWNGRADING. Selling a video card with features you don't use and buying one without those features saves you money, is unnoticeable since you don't use the features, and removes the bottleneck.

Yes that is if you have enough preformance in the rest of your system e.g 30gbHD 512mbRM 1.0ghzCPU is ok but if you have 120gb and 2ghz than you will want at least 1gb of ram maybe evan 2gb(if you use sevral applacations at once). hope this helped!

Actually most models are simple to upgrade! try going to your computers company(mine is acer) and getting a manual. thats how i did mine(512mb to 1gb)! hope i hepled
