Etorresdeltoro ::: Favorites Ferrofluid was or is used inside hi-dollar speakers to cool the voice coil. The liquid stays lodged between the magnet pole and the voice coil and carries away the heat from the voice coil to the magnet assembly. Don't know any other use, though.
