They let him passed away in the hospital, cause the only thing kept him alive was a machine. His brains were so damaged they couldn't operate him. bismark6666 ::: Favorites The suspension arm crushed his forehead, fractured the base of his skull and severed a main artery in his head which caused massive bleeding and practically choked on his own blood. They brought him back from the dead by cutting his neck and inserting a tube down his lungs (done at the scene) and his heart was restarted. He was pronounced dead (zero brain function) at 7:05 local time, approx 4 hours after the race was finished.
