Description:

Here is a movie that I made just today. Since it is now deep into the Footy Season and the Finals are approaching fast, I thought that I should try to make a video of all of the teams in the AFL, Australian (Aussie Rules) Football League. Teams like Melbourne and Geelong have lasted since 1858-59 and the League itself has came a long way since it was formed with Carlton, Collingwood, Essendon, Fitzroy, Geelong, Melbourne, St Killda and South Melbourne back in 1897. (110 years ago) (South Melbourne has now become the Sydney Swans since 1981 and Fitzroy Lions had marged with Brisbane Bares at the end of 1996 to become the Brisbane Lions in 1997) The sport of Australian Rules Football had not been limited to just the state of Victoria. with sides like Adelade, Fremantle, Port Adelade and West Coast that have been the class of their respective states of South Australia and Western Australia where they have had their own individual State Football Leagues since the late 1800's. Here are all of their clubs official Theme Songs, the only one that is out of date is the West Coast theme song that has had a new reindition since 2000, here I have been using their late 1980's and 90's club song. Also I had found all of the footy jumpers from this site. http://www.footyjumpers.com/ Also I found the clubs logos on the Wikipedia so in case if anyone wonders where I got the info from, it is on those sites where I had reserched all of the AFL teams jumpers. Plus the team songs were from the Footy Show CD that was made in 1997 for all of the 16 clubs after the Merger between Fitzroy and Brisbane and the inclusion of Port Adelade Power.
