Description:

"There's no surprise that the Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W Power Supply performs very well. With 1200 watts it's clearly not intended for the budget market, but rather the hardcore gamer. Having a multiple video card setup, lots of other hardware, and overclocking requires a power supply of this wattage to keep everything stable. This product also has a quiet 140mm fan, lots of sleeved modular leads, and looks excellent. It is fairly long though, so it might not fit in some mid-tower cases and it's pricey, which is to be expected. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end." ~3dGameMan.com

i was just being sarcastic there....i will say that i've been happy with all of the thermaltake psu's ive used over the years. don't know about 1200w though....perfectly happy with the antec neo480 that's been rocking my gamer for the past couple years

I had a Thermaltake passive PSU for a couple of years. It was a fantastic power supply, but 350 Watt wasn't enough for my newer PC, so now I have a more powerful PSU.

My 1U runs on a 300W PSU Do the maths: 1200/300 = 4 1U servers at 1 PSU :o No seriously... 1200W is overkill unless you have > 25 CCFLs

I'm just curious you don't review power supplies correctly, your supposed to get a load tester, and measure the ripple... And perhaps open inside and tell the caps it used... like jonnyguru :)
